Fees begin for Stormwater Services
The Macon Water Authority has been providing stormwater services for our customers for more than a year now, although stormwater utility fees haven't been added to customer bills until this year. Beginning January 1, 2022, the MWA will begin collecting a monthly flat fee of $4.99 for stormwater services. This fee will be added to the monthly bills of water and sewer customers. The fees will allow the MWA to provide sustainable, reliable stormwater services for Macon-Bibb County residential and non-residential customers, by addressing the problems that occur due to stormwater runoff.
