Employees from Irving Consumer Products – a first-time sponsor of Ocmulgee Alive! this year – wrap up their portion of a successful cleanup.
Irving Consumer Products joined YKK USA and Graphic Packaging International (GPI) as corporate sponsors of this year’s Ocmulgee Alive! Macon’s 14th Annual River Cleanup was held Saturday Oct. 6.
The theme of this year’s cleanup was: “Clean Streets = Clean Streams = Clean Ocmulgee,” which emphasized the damaging impact of litter on the environment, especially the Ocmulgee River.
