The MWA and its contractors are making quick work of the ongoing renovations at the Second Street Albert Billingslea Headquarters Administration Building. Construction on the first floor, which includes the new customer lobby, is tentatively scheduled for completion by the end of March.
The exterior of the building also is nearly done, with the final touches underway on roofing details, window panels, and landscaping. All the work on the first floor HVAC and electrical are completed, as contractors are in the midst of painting and installing flooring as well.
The three new Drive Thru windows are open and operational, as is the new parking lot. However, Customer Care remains in its temporary location in the hallway outside of the new lobby construction, with plans to re-open at the end of March, when construction will move up to the second and third floor offices and board room.
