Capacity, Management, Operation, & Maintenance (CMOM) Program
The Macon Water Authority’s field operations division is committed to protecting our environment.
The Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance Program (CMOM) at the MWA is implemented by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to prevent sanitary sewer overflows and spills.
According to regulations, the MWA is required to develop procedures to:
- Improve system capacity
- Perform long-term infrastructure planning
- Develop documentation and asset management procedures
Our CMOM program ensures this critical information and procedures are shared with stakeholders and readily available to the public.
