Emergency Water Main Repair Underway at Kitchens Road & Haywood Road
Macon Water Authority (MWA) crews are currently on-site repairing a 6-inch water main at the intersection of Kitchens Road and Haywood Road.
As a result of this emergency repair, customers in the surrounding area may experience temporary water outages or low water pressure while work is underway.
Areas Potentially Affected:
- Kitchens Road
- Freeman Court
- Haywood Road
- Denton Street
- Woodward Court
- Meriwood Court
- Creekwood Drive
- Walnut Hill Apartments
- Meriwood Apartments
The repair is expected to take approximately 6–8 hours to complete and may affect up to 120 customers, including residents at Walnut Hill Apartments and Meriwood Apartments.
Once water service has been fully restored, affected customers will be notified. MWA crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to complete repairs and minimize service disruptions.
